Production of green hydrogen by pyrogasification using wood waste for multi-purpose applications. The plant produces synthesis gas, which is then purified and recombined to obtain the desired gas (methane – CH4 or hydrogen – H2), depending on the application.
The volume of waste processed at the Montoir site is estimated at around 15,000 tonnes per year. Gas production is expected to reach 33,000 MWh/year with a flow rate of around 400 Nm3/h.
The preliminary design phase for the Montoir site was launched in early 2023. Further projects have been planned in France.
